Blogging 101 - Explore Online World

Hi my name is Rhaine, I love traveling, meeting new people, see new sites and scene, taste new food and products. I’ve been to different places and I want to record or take note all of those memory and experience capture that very moment. My friend once told me, why not put all those words in my head and those photos I have from my adventure in an online journal where I can share it to many people who wish to see what I have seen and what I have experienced on that specific place. And that my friend is the beginning of my blogging adventure.

As soon as I learn the basics of blogging I tried it out immediately. I made my first blog and it was fun, and I find it very nice to look at. A couple of my friends told me to enhance more my blogging skills and the only way to enhance my skill in blogging and learn more about online world. I was then introduced to a group who’s line of work is similar to what I really want to and their I meet CDO BLOGGERS. The group is composed of professional, diverse and well dynamic people who are expert in this field of work. I meet them face to face and exchange ideas with them and it was really fun.

They invited me to attend and join their workshop -- the CDOBloggers Basic Blogging & Social Media Promotion. It's an informal workshop on basic blogging and promotions. After hearing their invitation, I immediately RSVPed on their Facebook Event page and was so excited to join the event.  

On that day of the workshop, I met more people from different areas of expertise in blogging. I also meet a couple of newbies like me. The workshop was fun, exciting and interesting. The speakers CDOBloggers President Vicmadz and CDObloggers VP-Internal Venussmileygal gave insightful advice and tips to participants specially to newbies like me who knows a little about blogging. I learned a lot from their talks and it open my eyes how wonderful blogging could be. And how it can change my life and how move I am by its awesome result. Aside from the learning and insight I have received from the workshop itself, I was also happy at the freebies given to all the participants from their generous sponsors. I would like to say my thanks to Sun Cellular for the awesome freebies; Name Ur SIM (were you can personalize your SIM number), tumbler, ID strap with flashing bulb and calendar.

And the most important part is I will reserve the memory and the moment I have not only from the place I have been but also the friendship I have made. It is a journal that documents not only my life but also to the people whom I've been with.

It was a fun filled day with CDO Bloggers group and Im so happy I joined their workshop, not only I learned many things about online world, I also gain new friends and see the better and wider side of blogging. Yes, you heard me right, they are now offering Filipino dish in their menu and im very grateful and honor to be invited to celebrate with them on their One Year Anniversary and it was really great, we didnt just taste their tempting abd mouth watering dish that made my mind blown away but also we were entertain by a group of dancers  who showcase the traditional filipino dance or folk dance such as Itik-itik, Tinikling, Binasuan, Pandanggo sa Ilaw, Pandanggo sa Oasiwas, Maglalatik, Patomena, Carinosa are few of the dance presentation they demonstrate to us which made our dining moment

became more satisfying and enjoyable. And one thing i enjoy with this restaurant is the service they provide to their customer, guest and diner. They offer an extra mile of service to serve more their guest, it maybe just a simple additional chair or a glass of water and one more thing i notice that caught my attention is their cheerful greetings and warm smile toward to their customer making us comfortable and relax as we dine and enjoy our meal. Together with me are my fellow CDO BLOGGERS who were invited also to witness the One Year Anniversary of their restaurant. It was really wonderful and fascinating evening to us. The store not only celebrate their anniversary but also they participated to the great event name Earth Hour were their establishment put off their power and lighted their table with scented candles which made the dining area a very romantic and very unique place to dine.

I strongly recommend to you to dine at Thai Me Up and you must try their Fill Me Up Platters or Filipino Cuisine Platters. Among that Filipino dish they offer, is the pride of Cagayan de Oro City our very own Sinuglaw. It is a combination of sinugba na baboy or grilled pork and kinilaw na isda or salted salmon and mix together with a certain ingredient named Tabon-Tabon or commonly called atuna racemosa a pear shape kind of spice that can only be found here in mindanao and several areas in the visayas region that made this dish very exquisite taste of its kind.
